Default What dose the message expired mean?

This means that the sender set it to Expire.

Have a look at how to do it: open a new email and try the Options button.
That's where you can Expire emails that you send.

On an Exchange network, if the recipient has not opened it, at expiry time,
the Exchange server will retrieve it from their Inbox. If they have opened
it, it goes grey with a line through it and teall you what time it expired.

My large clients use it for housekeeping stuff. eg Fred's away today or
Remember that morning tea is on in the Conference room at 10am etc.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

One of the emails in my outlook 2003 mail box displayed :
"This message expired on 2007-5-21 1:30.
by 2007-5-21 1:30."
What does this mean?
