Default Deleted Identity

"Tamaria" ...
I checked there, and the deleted files are dated from the day after I need,
until now.

Are you still using the identity that the message was deleted from? This
will show you the correct ID.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store Folder will reveal the location of
your Outlook Express files. Press the Tab key to highlight the folder
location, then Ctrl+C. Close OE, then Start | Run | Ctrl+V will put the
location in the box - Click OK and you'll see the OE files. Otherwise,
write the location down and navigate to it in Windows Explorer.

In WinXP, Win2K & Win2K3, the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default
marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must
enable Show Hidden Files and Folders under Start | Control Panel | Folder
Options Icon | View, or in Windows Explorer | Tools | Folder Options |
View.

If you compacted after deleting the message, that tool won't work. If it
has been awhile, is could also have been written over.

Hi, I used Macallan Outlook Express Extraction to try to recover a
deleted email, but was unable to find it. I found 3 different
identities, looked in all 3 deleted folders, but the time frame was
wrong in all three. They were either just before or just after the time
frame I need. I'm thinking maybe an identity got deleted. Is this
possible? If it is, how do I recover the identity?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
