syncing agenda with multiple PCs

Typically, I have 3 pc's in homes and office and also a Laptop. I
would like to have some utility to enable me to carry a file over to
each machine and update the agenda. I could use a Pocket PC I guess
but I have had unreliability trying that . Nor do I really want to
use Google online calendar although right now that seems my best
option if I cannot find something else.
