Default Outlook 2007 won't open

It's beginning to sound like Norton 360 could be the problem!

Well in earlier versions its usually caused by either or a combination of;
1) an Add In eg synch software
2) a fax app that integrates with OL
3) AV software
I assume the same in OL2007

You're right DL. There is an instance of Outlook.exe running after I

close
the application. I guess the next question is why that is the case and

how
I can fix that.

Thank you for your help.

Maybe OL isnt exiting correctly, and as such your Processes Tab will

show
an
instance of Outlook.exe still running
(Cntr+Alt+Del Processess Tab)

Sometimes I close Outlook 2007 when I'm working during the day and
then
when
I try to open it it won't open. The other MS applications in the 2007
suite
open OK all the time. It is only Outlook that does this - maybe 2 or
3
times a day. I have to re-boot to gain access to it again.

If, after trying to launch Outlook 2007 I do a restart, the
application
opens momentarily before Windows logs off and the computer restarts.
