Default setting cursor for reply

I had installed a program called "hotbar" a few days earlier but, not having
noticed the reply cursor placement problem until yesterday, I didn't think
of that program as being a possible reason. Thanks for the help, removing
"hotbar" solved the problem.

Are you using QuoteFix, or a similar program? If not, we'll have to get
some input from someone else. I have never seen this before, but can't
even imagine Malware, or any worm being the reason.

Tried it and the exact same thing happens. When I first hit reply, the
message window opens and for a brief moment, the cursor shows up at the
top of the page then jumps to the first line of the message to which I'm
replying. The same thing happens whether in mail or newsgroups, if that
makes any difference.

Any other ideas as to what it might be? I'm totally stumped.

Unless you have made changes in the registry, you may have a damaged
identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and

test it.
If all is well, you can import your messages from the old identity and
delete it.

For some reason when I'm replying to a message, the cursor is no

longer
at the top of the page but, usually, is on the first line of the

original
message or, sometime, part way down the page. I've looked at all

the
formatting for read, compose etc but can't find anything to re-set

the
cursor to the top like it used to be...any help, anyone?
