Further to this and FYI I have a very large file in MY Docs. consisting of
directions, links, info and advice received from you and others that I can
refer to when I encounter a problem - rather than you have to repeat and
repeat the same advice. Unfortunately, I had nothing that dealt with my
problem. Also, when I read posts I tend to (as I expect you do ) read them
based upon the subject, rather than answered or not. Indeed, in my case I
get more benefit when one has been answered.

Thank you for responding. I do, and did realize that my query was
regarding a program propogated and freely offered by "Majik". I further
appreciate the effort he, you, and others put forth for the benefit of
people like myself. Our respect for you is there - unstated, but there.
All I was looking for was a response.
Thank you

I for one saw your post. It is not one that I felt that I had the
knowledge to answer sufficiently.
I do not like to reply to a post that I feel I will not be able to solve.
The reason for this is once someone replies, there is a box with a + sign
in front of it, [+].
This can result in people bypassing the post, thinking it was already
answered,
The author of OEQB, Fellow MVP David "Majik" Guess monitors this
newsgroup. That said, we are all volunteers including Majik. I am sure
that as soon as he sees your post, he will reply.
We are not all here 24/7, but I would bet your post is answered by
tomorrow.
I apologize for the delay, but as I said, DGuess is the best to answer
your post.

This refers to my post of approx. 10 hours ago, subject OEQB Problems:
I have read posts and advice in this and similar Newsgroups over the
last three years (and have posted to and received advice) and have been
given both advice and direction steering me to advancing my knowledge of
Windows and computer use.
For the most part I have found MVP's and other contributors to be
helpful, knowledgable, sympathetic, and courteous.
The advice, direction, links and information generously provided has
been beneficial to both myself, others who use these NG's, and those in
my situation whom I have directed to these same NG's.
Up until today.
Some 10 hours ago I posted a request for assistance. I made every effort
to make it a good post, giving a description of my problem, accurate
record of what occurred, my efforts to resolve the problem, and my
results.
I did not post "HELPPPPPP!!!!!!", or "test", or "what is this".
I did post what my problem was, what I had done to cause it to occur,
and what I had attempted to try to correct it.
I do feel that the least you - with far more experience - (and who make
a point of reading and answering these posts for help) could have done
was to answer. Even to say you have no idea what is causing my problem
would have made me feel better about checking every ten minutes for an
answer, with no results.
My only condonation in this is that in my area of expertise I would
never treat another asking for advice in this manner.
As always
Thanks

Hang in there, Terry:
I don't know his habits, but I'm sure you will get a response sooner, or
later. And when you get a reply, I'm sure it will be a good one.
