Default HTTP Access to an Exchange Server

Gee thanks, Roady.

Could you be a little more specific?
I'm not exactly Mr. Firewall if you know what I mean. (IOW, I don't have any
idea where to start...)

Have you ever heard of this problem before?

I'm thinking it might have something to do with the security certificate,
but I don't know where to find it...

ciao

Eddie

You might want to start with checking your firewall settings.

Hello,

I just got a new laptop with Vista on it.

I installed MS Office 2003 incl. Outlook 2003.
SP2 is installed.
The laptop has "Norten Protection Center" installed.

Problem:

When I'm in my network at work, Outlook has no problem accessing the
Exchange server. When I am at home, Outlook can't seem to find the server
even though I have HTTP configured the same as my home desktop and old
laptop
(XP machines).

- Outlook Web Access works fine on the new machine.

- Outlook on my desktop machine at home as well as on my old laptop has no
problem accessing my Exchange server over HTTP.

- As with my home desktop, my new laptop is not part of the domain at
work.

I must have something configured incorrectly, any ideas?

ciao

Eddie
