Default Options for Replying to Messages

Thanks for confirming that Outlook does not have a "per e-mail" button like
how there is one in Lotus Notes. I understand your [Ctrl] + [A] answer, but
I'm not following the information you wrote underneath it. The only
information I could find about Outlook editor in online help was that it was
the default e-mail editor in previous versions of Outlook. Since I am a new
user can you provide step-by-step instructions on how to access editor, the
user word checkbox, etc. as well as what these steps are supposed to
accomplish? Thanks in advanced.

You can set it as a Global option but there is not a "per e'Mail" button.

Simple solution is to reply and clear the referenced text,
[Ctrl + A] [Backspace]

Use the outlook editor ( disable the "user word" checkbox option )
add the "Signature" button to your toolbar and click it after your message
( or select the sig you want for that response. )

I have only been using MS Outlook for the past three months. Prior to
that,
I had been using Lotus Notes for the past several years. Lotus Notes had
an
option that allowed you to reply without including a copy of the sender's
email message (Reply without History). Does Outlook 2003 offer such a
command? Thanks in advanced.
