Are you in your true identity and trying to import from the *backup*
identity? That is what you want to do. Is Folders.dbx in the backup
identity? See if you can manually import them.
How to restore individual dbx files:

I tried it but it didn't work. There is a folder in the identity folder
that says folders.dbx. But I get an error message saying either
application
is in use or something else.
Is there any way to get these messages?

I restored oe6 files from ghost to my oe6, but they have a different
identity
number even though they should be the same identity, and when I click
on
the
file, it opens 0e6 but they are not viewable there. What can I do to
view
them? thanks
File | Import | Messages
Choose to import from an OE6 store directory and Browse to the folder
containing the DBX files.
Note: If you did not include Folders.dbx it will not work.
