newgroups. That's the major attraction. I use the Web version at work. Ah
well, that's how it goes. If it's a server problem, nothing I can do about

That usually indicates a server error. Either the HTTP server was busy
when you attempted it and you should try again later. Or use the
webinterface at www.hotmail.com to do it.
