Default Invites not appearing as tentative in calendar - Oulook 2003

Hi there

Outlook uses a piece of code called the sniffer to add invites as tentative
items to your Calendar.

Most likely reasons for it not to fire are

1) the setting for this behaviour may be switched off: Tools Options
(Preferences) Email Options Tracking Options Process requests and
responses on arrival

2) the sniffer only works on the Inbox so if the item gets moved by a rule
then it may not get 'sniffed'. In this case, figure out which rules may
apply on invites and add the exception "except if it is a meeting invitation
or update" on the last page of the rules wizard.

See http://bwain-dump.blogspot.com/2007/...x-sniffer.html for
deeper explanation and troubleshooting.
