Presumably the contact list is in a PST file on the CD?
Copy the file to your HDD (do NOT overwrite any existing pst file). Remove
the read-Only attribute if it's set.
Then in Outlook do File-Open-Outlook Data File and navigate to where you put
the pst file.. Copy the contacts from the old file to the new.
