Default Why "client only" when the address book is involved?

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003 with an Exchange Server 2003 at my internet
provider. I can access my synchronized contacts via Outlook 2003 or
OWA. I want to set up a rule that moves messages containing "[spam]"
in the subject field into the junk folder, but I need to exempt
messages from my contacts.

Since the contacts are on the server I thought this is doable, I also
read some documentation about the limitation of server rules and using
the address book was no such limitation. However, when I try to set up
such rule in Outlook, it will force the rule to be a client only rule,
no matter which address book I use (several are listed like "OAL" and
"All Address Lists" and I actually don't know where they come from).

I need that server rule... TIA for any hint

Kind regards
DC
