Default Outlook 2007 Safe Senders GPO

Hello,
I found a solution
http://blogs.technet.com/asiasupp/ar...anization.aspx

This is for Office2003, but I added a key to my machine like this

HKey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\O utlook\Options\Mail

DWORD = JunkMailImportLists

Value = 1

And now everything is OK.

I've yet to resolve this also. I'll keep you posted if I find a solution.

I does also have the same problem.
I have tried the same things that you have done, but it does not function.

Can someone help?
Is there other ways to do this?`

Yes, I have restarted Outlook many times.

Here are the GPO settings im adjusting:

Test OU (the test user and the computer im using are in this OU)

User Config\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Outlook
2007\Tools|Options\Preferences\Junk Email

Overwrite or Append Junk Mail Import List -
Tried the following - Not Configured, Enabled, Disabled

Specify path to Safe Senders list -
Tried the following - \\servershare\Safe.txt and also %userprofile%\Safe.txt

The test account has access to the file on the server and I manually placed
the file in his userprofile directory.

I can manually add the list from these locations without any issues.

When I view the registy for these policies, they are there. I can
successfully adjust other Outlook specific policies without any issues as
well.

Outlook 2007 should work like Outlook 2003 and load new junk mail lists information from the registry only once each session, when Outlook starts. Have you restarted Outlook?

I am trying to config a GPO to load a custom Safe Senders text file into each
users Outlook Safe Senders list. When this policy is pushed out, it is
present in the Registry but the list cant be seen in Outlook 2007 nor does it
work in the "background". Why would this GPO setting be present if I cant
use it?

Can anyone let me know if you have run across a similar issue and if you
have any workarounds?
