View, Current view, All appointments or one of the By views... or Define
views and create one from scratch. Use Customize (same menu) to set up
filters.

To the best of my knowledge, no. Depending on the file format of the
export from works, you can edit it in excel or notepad before importing
and make the dates and occurrences correct.

You can create a table view that shows just the items modified at the
time of the import - this may make it easier to make changes.
