No offense, but Microsoft and Norton need to get on the same page to avoid
all these errors and complications which are quite frustrating to the
average
consumer! I mean seriously who needs all this extra aggrivation?! For
months I can't even add new firewall rules since I installed IE7 and an
exhaustive internet search on NAV 2005 firewall script errors proves that
an
awful lot of people still have this problem! Norton technical support is
almost useless because with the slightest problem they insist on either
reinstalling Norton or upgrading to their 2007 line...and I have already
done
this twice within the last year with no positive effect!


Turn off email scanning in Norton. It adds no protection over the regular
resident shield and messes up OE.
