Adding Contact Info to Appointments in Microsoft Outlook
dragging creates a meeting request here - I drag it to the button and drop.
btw - you should be able to select the contact and use the Edit menu for
copy - no need to open.

Hello,
I am very dissapointed that in Outlook 2007 I can no longet drag a
contact
over to my calendar to create an appointment. What is Microsoft thinking
by
de-featuring an upgrade!
Now I have to open the contact and got to the Move To menu and chose copy
to
and the choose calendar. Then I have to close the contact... what a
hassle!
Am I missing something or did Microsoft blow this?
Thanks!

G'Day Amanda,
The following applies to Outlook 2003:
View your Contacts, then click 'Folder List' to see:
Folder list at Left, Contacts in main window centre&right.
With the RIGHT Mouse button, drag a Contact and drop it on
the 'Calendar' Folder.
In the option menu that appears, select 'Copy here as Appointment with
Text'
Does this help?

I need to have the address and phone number automatically entered into
a
field in my appointments, and be seen when I print out the calendar
page.
Currently I must type everything I want seen on the print out into
the
subject field or the location field. Is there anyway to click a
button
somewhere to attach the info and make it visible on the print out
without
having to go through wasting my time typing everything over and over
everytime i set an appointment?
