Default new menu confusion

no, but there is a flash "cheat sheet" at Office Online that will help you
find the commands -
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ge...938921033.aspx - click the
find familiar commands link

I don't know why find would be under formatting but thats the one. Is
there anyway to switch back to the pre2007 menu for the compose dialog?

Yes outlook 2007. Sorry I didn't make this clear. Thats not the search
I was talking about.

If I click on Forward Message a new compose dialog pops up with no edit
menu. In this window I can't find the search. The equavilent to
outlook express's "Edit-Find-Text in message" or CTRL + SHIFT + F

If you click on Format Text, right at the far end is a "Find" function -
don't know if that's what you are after....
