Default Customizing columns in user-created folders

Hi everyone...

I created a folder to archive my emails...
Now when I add a new column in that folder (say for 'Size'), it also appears
in my Inbox folder (OEs default folder). Is there anyway I can customize my
user-defined folder without affecting the system (Inbox) folder?
