Outlook 2003

I use Outlook to process my e-mail. How would I make the space
between lines to be one (1)?

Sometimes the space between lines is two (2), especially between
paragraphs.

This is not an Outlook problem. It is a problem in how you have left
configured the default inter-paragraph spacing in Word - because you
are using Word to view and/or compose your e-mails instead of
Outlook's own embedded editor. Go ask on paragraph spacing in a Word
newsgroup.

This IS an Outlook problem. How am I supposed to know that Outlook is
really Word? As far as I know I use only Outlook for my e-mail
program.

Word was not integrated into Outlook until version 2007. For OL2003,
and if you configure Outlook to use Word as the e-mail editor, it gets
pretty obvious when you compose a new e-mail when a window for Word
opens up. Outlook can call Word as the e-mail editor but it doesn't
control the options or configuration of Word.

If you don't want Outlook to use Word as the e-mail editor, go into
Outlook's options and disable using Word as the editor. Otherwise, for
problems in paragraph spacing in Word, ask in a Word newsgroup.
