Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Nelson asked:

| I updated my computer with XP Small Business and now have 2 outlook
| icons on my desktop. If I click on the "old" one I get the message
| "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Unable to display the selected
| folder or item. Could not open the item. Try again." If I click on
| the "new" icon I get the message "Unable to open your default e-mail
| folders. Could not open the item. Try again.".

| Can anyone help me get this straightened out? Do I take Outlook out
| of the computer and start again and, if so, how do I reload my data?
| I use Windows One Care for my weekly backup so the data is there I
| assume.

| As you can tell I am not very computer literate.
