Default XP/Outlook2003 Problem: Deselect Name in 'Other Calendars' does not work properly (keeps 'Selected Items'-font)

Hi,

and first of all, sorry for the excessive crosspost - but I think
although the issue only seems like an Outlook problem, it might have
something to do with the Display - Appearance Settings in XP.

The following thing happens within my Outlook (and is quite annoying):
Calendar - 'Other Calendars' pane. Select a calendar by clicking on a
name or the checkbox - the calendar is displayed correctly. Deselect
the calendar by clicking the name or the checkbox again - the
calendar is not displayed anymore. But now, also the name is not
displayed anymore - only the checkbox!

Or, to be precise, the name is displayed with white font on the white
background! Here is where the Appearance Settings come into play: The
name seems to keep the 'Selected Items'-property (Display Properties -
Appearance - Advanced - Item - Selected Items), which is Windows

Standard: Tahoma / 8pt / white.
If I change the colour of this font, I can see the name with the
changed colour. Of course, I would very much prefer not to change the
standard colour for all my windows applications, but to correct this
bug.

Things I already tried:
Re-install SP2,
Uninstall Outlook, reboot, Install Outlook 2003 again.
Start Outlook with /resetnavpane (it worked for this session, but not
for the next session without /resetnavpane - and I would like to keep
the 'Other Calendars' from session to session)
Delete the corresponding xml-file in the application data for Outlook
manually.
Create a new profile from scratch.
Search the internet and knowledge base.
But all of this did not help. :-(

Is there anything I could try to correct this? Or has anybody else
experienced this bug and/or knows how to correct it? Any help would be
highly appreciated!

Thanks and regards,
Klaus
