that, the recycle bin had never been used for such
backup(s).

I guess, because I've seen so many complaints of lost
data in .dbx files, the change was implemented just for
recovery. However, I'd like the option myself.

I did a manual All Folder compact 3 consecutive times, no other action
between
the compacting, and each time 82 items were placed in my Recycle Bin.
