Ron, I've been chastised by others for starting a new message when there is
already a thread covering same issue. On to your questions:
Where did you get the dbx file that you are trying to restore?--From my
Message Store
What didn't work?--I made a new Folder called archive1, went into it one
time, closed OE, found archive1 in Message Store, deleted it, made copy of
Deleted Items.dbx, renamed it archive1.dbx, moved it to Message Store,
opened Message Store, it was there and of same size as Deleted Items.dbx,
opened OE, clicked on archive1 Folder, nothing there.
Is the file marked Read Only?--No is isn't
