Other than adding the recipients to the Bcc field, is there a way to keep a
Distribution List private so the recipients only see the name of the
distribution list or their own name but not the names of the other recipients
on the list?

sending it to then simply add all the recipients to the BCC (Blind Carbon
Copy) field instead of the To field.
