Default Outlook Contacts Index

In my Outlook Contacts folder, I need to change the index (on the right side
of the screen). It currently displays AB; CD; EF; etc. How can I change it so
that each letter displays separately, so when I click on D it goes to all
entries beginning with D and not those with a C?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Outlook adjusts the index so that the whole alphabet is always on-
screen. It will only show separate letters if they would all fit on-
screen at the same time. So, you need to maximise the Outlook windows
to fill the screen. If that doesn't work, you'll need a bigger screen.
