I have recently lost 15 sub-flder from 4 main folders. ANy ideas why
and how to recover?

Generally this is caused by one of two things:

1. Email scanning in an anti-virus, especially McAfee or Norton.

2. Shutting down the computer while OE is compacting folders or using Task
Manager to shutdown msimn.exe before compacting has finished.
