Default DL headers only in OE??

Not programmatically. I just File | Save As and save as a txt message. There
may be a program out there, but I am unaware at this time.

Bruce,

Thank you for responding!

OK then, do you know of any way of programatucally copying the mesage of
an Outlook Express message to the clipboard OR programatically saving the
message of an Outlook Express email as a text file?

Thanks!

Steve

Sorry. I have absolutely no experience with Excel, or any Office product
for that matter.

Bruce,

I noted you are a MS-MVP Outlook Express. Can you help me with this
question ...

Is there any way to programatically grab an Outlook Express 6.0 message
and get it into Excel2003?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Steve

DL = Delete? onbox = Inbox?

Are you referring to this from Help? It is only for newsgroups. If you
delete message headers in an OE folder, you delete the message as well,
and if you didn't, you wouldn't be able to find it anyhow.

To delete a newsgroup message

Newsgroup messages are stored on a news server. In order for them to be
available for other people to read, they cannot be deleted from the
server. However, you can delete newsgroup messages or headers that have
been downloaded to your computer.

1.. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2.. On the Maintenance tab, click Clean Up Now.
3.. Click Browse, and select either a news server or a specific
newsgroup, and then click OK.
4.. To delete message bodies only for the selected item, click Remove
Messages.
-or-

To delete headers and messages for the selected item, click Delete.

News items deleted in this manner are permanently removed from your
computer.
