Default Instant Search -

Windows Desktop Search 3.01 is what you need. I don't know of a product
called "Instant Search Desktop". I think it now comes with a UI that also
gives you desktop searching.
First check you have the right application and latest version installed.
Next check your indexing options via the entry in Control Panel and Tools |
Options | Preferences ... Search Options.

I have Office2007, including Outlook2007. I had instant search working
fine
until I rebuilt my computer, installing a larger hard drive. (I am
running
WinXP Pro.)

After rebuilding my machine and installing Office2007, I thought I clicked
on the "install Instant Search" in Outlook2007, which installed the
instant
SEARCH DESKTOP, but it doesn't seem to have installed instant search in
Outlook2007 (not sure why this was any different than the last time I
sucessfully installed instant search in Outlook 2007.)

How can I get instant search running in Outlook2007 - (instant) SEARCH
DESKTOP is still installed. I am not finding the orange banner now, to
activate instant search.

Besides THAT question, I have FrontPage2003 and work on websites as a
volunteer. Since installing the instant Search Desktop, I have noticed
that
after opening FP2003, when I try to path my way to one of my hard drives
to
open a previously created webpage, FP2003 just stalls and will not allow
me
to path to any location on my hard drive. I have learned that I can still
get there by using the buttons on the LEFT to get to the webpages, but
trying
to use the buttons at the top to path my way there is not allowing me to
move.

ANY and all help greatly appreciated.
