Trouble with OE and Sending Emails to Multiple Addresses
Hi Guys,
Thanks for your replies.
I'm not sure how many mail recipients optushome allows, though I was
assuming that OE would split messages and send them in sequence to one
another if more than the allowed amount was requested. I was able to delete
from the list and the message was sent, but when
was inside the mailing list, it would not send the
message to any of the recipients. This is the trouble I'm having. Is there a
way to configure OE so if one recipient is rejected, the email is still sent
to the remainder of recipients in the mailing list ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Glen

Hi,
I am having a problem sending emails to large amounts of people. I
get this message with some addresses in my address book.
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was
rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was
'. Subject 'Fw: ', Account:
'mail.optusnet.com.au', Server: 'mail.optushome.com.au', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 ...
Relaying denied. Proper authentication required.', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
Now the question I have is, can I configure OE6 to discard the person
that cannot receive the email, and continue sending it to those who
can receive it?
This has been bugging me for days.
This is often caused by having more recipients than the mail host allows.
What is the limit imposed by your mail server?
