As accurate as I can be, I think this problem started after uninstalling
(through 'add and remove programmes') Norton Symantec anti-virus software.
It was a total disaster using this product, so I had to get rid of it as the
PC was becoming unusable. Not unlike having a virus on your PC!!

The error message 'dwwin.exe - dll initialization failed' occurs when I log
out of my userspace. I am also unable to use Excel, although fortunately
Word and PowerPoint are ok.

Please help!
