Default Move a catagory of contacts to "New Folder"

What you're missing is the power of the right mouse button. Left dragging
will move, right dragging allows for copying (when you release the mouse
button you will be given choices).

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

I should clarify. I want to
COPY not move the items of a certain category to a new folder.

View the folder By Category. Click the first item in the category. Hold
Shift and click the last item in the category. Click EditCopy to Folder
and specify the second folder as the destination. No need to move
anything.
