Fake folder & fake email

A new folder always pops up called "challenge" and emails always end up in

or body of your reply". The person then sends it back to me wondering what
I'm talking about. I delete the "challenge" folder, but it always
reappears
within a few hours. I run Norton anti-virus, but it picks up nothing. It's
been going on for about a month now. How do I get rid of it short of
formatting. I don't mind doing that, but I don't want to lose all of my
old
emails. Thanks
