on the main Contacts screen, there is a large multi-line text field under the
title of "Notes".

I put a string of five '*' characters in a known good contact Note field,
and then searched through all the fields in all the views in outlook, and all
the mail-merge fields in Word 2007, and was unable to locate any field that
started with asterisks.
(the five * characters were still on the main Outlook contact view).

Where is the Notes field stored and how can I get at it on forms or print
it, or mail-merge it, or how I can export it to Sharepoint 3.0 so I can see
the Notes field under SP3.0??
