As far as I can tell, from this link:

It only works for Outlook and not Outlook Express.

Windows Desktop Search indexes Outlook e-mail on both Exchange servers
and PST files. In addition, your locally stored Lotus Notes e-mail will be
indexed by WDS when the Lotus Notes add-in is installed.

I have OE6, IE7, and just installed Windows Desktop Search. Desktop Search
does not find OE email. Indexing is complete and the Indexing includes the
MS OE "Main Identity." I can't find any documentation, FAQ, etc which
addresses this issue. Am I missing something obvious? I hope so. Any help
