Default back up outlook file

Why would you export? That's a good way to lose data, not preserve it. Just
copy the PST file and open it in another installation.
Once you put a PST file on a CD, you must place it back on a hard drive and
remove the read only attributer before Outlook can access it.

I used the export feature in Outlook on another computer that had to be
sent
in for service. File, Import Export, to another file, pst. I selected the
whole personal folder and exported it. It saved as a backup.pst. I then
copied this into a CD. Now I am trying to birng it back in but it is not
recognizing the backup file as a personal folders file???????? It only
sees
one .pst file which is the one that got created when I set up the email
account in this PC.

????help?
