Default Additional Address Book

No, it won't matter.

did you right click on the Soccer folder and choose properties and check the
setting on the address book tab?

To clarify: I have 3 folders: Contacts, Soccer, Law Group. The only
listing I can get when I go to select members for a new distribution list
are the names in the "Contacts" folder. If I were to rename the other two
Contacts-Soccer and Contact-Law Group, would that make a difference ?

I must be missing something then. When I go to the "Soccer" contact folder
and try to make a new DL, the only addresses that show up are from my
"General" contact folder. What am I doing wrong???

Since Outlook does not have an address book, you need to clarify what
you mean by that term.
Contact data can only be created in Contacts Folders, and you can
certainly create a DL in any Contacts Folder you want.

I have a separate address book in my Outlook 2007 contacts, but when I'm
in that address book I cannot create a distribution list because the
only option I get when clicking "Select Members" is my basic address
book. "Help" tells me I can change the properties to allow the
additional address book to show, but I can't find where the
instructions are to do that. Can someone please help.
