Using OE-6 under XP-Hm-MCE

OE's dictionary recently decided to change its language habits. For each
and EVERY word in a msg (if I allow it to go that far), it, the dictionary
comes back with a foreign language alternative.

Did I execute some kind of switch? ToolsOptionsSpelling tells me that it
is French! No other languages are made available.

Befuddled, (no French alternative to this word!)
