Default Configure problem.

The recipient policy, itself, is in System Manager under Recipients.
Whether or not it's used for address generation is a checkbox on the E-Mail
Addresses tab of a user's properties sheet in ADUC.

What version of Exchange Server are you using? If Exchange 2003, are
addresses updated based on recipient policy?

Sorry Hal. maybe I should have said that there were two address in
there.
X400:c=us;a=;p=magazine fulfill;o=Exchange;s=Chanmbers;g=Teresa;
X400:c=us;a=;p=magazine fulfill;o=Exchange;s=Chanmbers;g=Theresa;

I deleted : X400:c=us;a=;p=magazine

fulfill;o=Exchange;s=Chanmbers;g=Teresa;

and left the other.

Generally speaking, the X400 address is what Exchange uses to do it's

job.
You really need an X400 address in there. Rather than take it out,
have

you
tried changing it?

Hi Hal,
This entry was in Thereas config:
X400:c=us;a=;p=magazine fulfill;o=Exchange;s=Chanmbers;g=Teresa;

But I took it out a month ago. After many reboots, somewhere the

above
configureation is still in exchange.

That appears to be an X500 address. Does one appear for her in

news I have a user who has two differnet configurations.

If you goto "New Mail Message"--"To" and enter "Theresa

Chamber".
right click on "Theresa Chamber" and select "Outlook
Properties"--"email
Address" you will see this:
X400:c=us;a=;p=magazine
fulfill;o=Exchange;s=Chanmbers;g=Theresa;

BUT if you goto "New Mail Message"--"To" and look at "Theresa
Chamber"
details. Namely "email Address" you will see this:
o=Magazine Fulfillment/ou=First Administrative
Group/cn=Reipients/cn=Teresa
Chambers

NOW the first config calls Theresa "Theresa" the 2nd "Teresa".
Her acount works most of the time but we have two companies
that

we do
bussness with, they say this is causing problems with there
spam
filters!

I gone thru Theresa's exchange acount. I can find any
referance

to
"Teresa"!.

Ideals anyone?
