If you uninstall the Google Toolbar, does it work as expected?

After furious head scratching, DS asked:

| A couple of months ago my calendar in Outlook 2002 (w/ SP3) stopped
| accepting new entries - it had worked fine for years. The error
| basically says "can't save... 1 or more parameters values are not
| valid". The only system change I can remember near that time was
| adding the Google toolbar to IE. In Outlook Today / Properties /
| Advanced it shows "Personal Folders". I have 12 sub-folder and the
| size for all folders is 350kb (I don't use it for email). Appreciate
