Thanks so much for the prompt response. Understood your instructions,
but could you please advise how I can select a specific data file as the
default? My OL2003 automatically defaults to a new data file which was
created when I created the new profile, but I need to have it use the
old .PST file as the default. How do I do that?

Go back to control panel-mail icon-profiles. Highlight your profile and select properties, then data files. Is the data file shown the one you use? If not, then browse to the one you do use and make it the default.
