We have Outlook Express 6, and have e-mails going back a few years in the
inbox. Today I noticed that it had deleted just about all the messages from
this year. However, when examining the inbox sub-folders, I noticed a new
folder called "temp", which had all the e-mails leading up to June, but
nothing from June to present. Does anybody have any idea why this might be
happening, and if I can do anything to recover the lost e-mails? If it makes
a difference, we have AVG anti-virus and not mcafee. Also, we didn't get
any e-mails saying that the inbox was overfull. Just woke up one morning and
it had all vanished. Thanks.
