Mr. Miller am I not in the OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6 GENERAL area? I am sorry that I
assumed that the person responding to this thread would not know what
discussion the thread was entered into. If the case is he didn't know, why
didn't he not just ask like you have? Thank you. I stated that I was using
windows xp-home. I did state that I was using internet explorer 7 and yes I
do have SP2 installed. Thank you for asking. I have spent hours reading
"Help About". I know more than most people do about computers but I have to
admit I am a small fry in a big ocean when it comes to the technical side of
how a computer works. I miss the simple days of DOS. I don't understand why
he send me links for instructions for windows 95-98-2000. I don't think that
was reasonable. I thank you for your questions and hope my answers will help
you lead me to the information that I need.

Please read my question again. I WAS NOT TRYING TO READ A MESSAGE...I WAS
TRYING TO CREATE A MESSAGE, I don't know why it keeps giving me that message
when I was hitting create mail. All the links you sent were for programs
that I am not running. Will they work with my programs?
Considering that you neglected to tell us which program that you are using,
and that you posted your problem to an MS Outook Express group, providing
three links to MS Outlook Express problems seems reasonable. Perhaps you can
post back with the name of the program, and the version number? If it is MS
Outlook Express on Windows XP Home Edition (at least you *did* mention the
OS; and with MSIE7 perhaps we can guess that is with SP2) then opening MS
Outlook Express 6, adn reading the "Help About" notice will be a start. I
have:
Microsoft Outlook Express 6
6.00.2900.2180
And, in the file list is:
msoe.dll: Version 6.00.2900.3138
I believe that information would be a start. After all, we don't really know
what you are using, and people *have* posted here with questions about MS
Outlook 97, MS Outlook 2003, and even Mozilla Thunderbird.
