for XP. The procedure is he

Overall, your problem points to something being wrong with the address

So you may want to start he

Yes I did read the articles, the first link seems to be my problem but
the
instructions for correcting them were given for windows 95 and 98. I
was not
sure if they would work in XP. If they will please let me know.
Thank you.

Did you read the articles?
All three of those apply to creating a message as they say in the
articles.
And the first two apply to OE 5, 5.5 and 6, even though the articles
may
not mention all of them (the first mentions 5 and 6, the second
mentions
5 and 5.5 but also applies to 6).

Please read my question again. I WAS NOT TRYING TO READ A
MESSAGE...I
WAS
TRYING TO CREATE A MESSAGE, I don't know why it keeps giving me
that
message
when I was hitting create mail. All the links you sent were for
programs
that I am not running. Will they work with my programs?
1) Err Msg: The Message Could Not Be Sent. Some recipients not
valid
(Outlook Express: There was an error opening this message)
(The Address Book failed to load. OE is incorrectly configured)
(Corrupted or mismatched WAB32.DLL file)

(There was an error opening this message)

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310873
2) Are you getting any error message?
When you can't open, is that the message itself or the attachment?
And for other messages, what is missing?
Maybe some of these apply:
If you haven't already done it, shutdown and restart Windows.
This
sometimes fixes the problem.
- If you still have a problem then try Start, Run and enter:
regsvr32 inetcomm.dll
- If that doesn't help, then see if the fix in this article
applies:
OLEXP: Message Appears Blank and Has an ATT000XX.txt or
ATT000XX.htm
Attachment
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=312351
- If that doesn't help, then in Internet Explorer, select View,
Encoding and uncheck Auto-Select and choose instead "Western
European
(ISO)". Then try reading your messages.
- If the problem is only with HTML messages, and you have OE6
with
SP1+, go to Tools, Options, Read and uncheck Read All Messages in
Plain
Text. For a quick workaround for the current message, press
ALT+Shift+H
Blank From column
Tools, Options, Read, Fonts, Western European (ISO) for the
default
encoding.
