Default Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express 6 SP1 (KB823353)

Dear Groups,

I keep getting this as a patch I need to download and apply whenever I go to
Windows Update. Each time I follow the usual download and install routine
it says that its been applied successfully. But when I restart my pc and go
to the Windows Update site and it still says I need to download and install
this High Priorty Update.

1 - Can I test if the update has been applied and if my machine is secure or
not?

2 - If its secure, why does it always say that I need this patch?

3 - If its not secure, then is there a fix for this so I can make it secure?

I think if I can find out the answer to number 1, whether the patch is
getting applied properly or not, then I can decide what to do next.

Some details about my system:

* Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 and all high priority updates and patches are
applied.
* Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 and any updates are applied.
* Outlook Express 6 and any updates are applied.

Thanks for reading my request for support,
Regards,
Derek.
