I just tried to run scanpst.exe. My pst is named outlook.pst and is
a 98-02 file. all my emails show in the personal folder list in
outlook. That file isn't showing in doc&set/owner/app
data/ms/outlook. That's where it was. Do you know where it went so I
can run the scan on it?

When SCANPST asks for the file, enter

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst

in the filename field. Click OK. "LOcal Settings" in a hidden folder adnd
unless you enable viewing hidden files and folders, you won't see it.
