this is an AOL problem not an outlook express problem, that they may have
an
answer for in their helpscreens or user groups, or you might find the
setting in AOL messenger options

oops. AOL IM "sign-on" pops up every time I open Microsoft Outlook

Express
6 (not Internet Explorer 6).

Please. How do I get rid of the AOL Instant Messenger "sign-on" pop-up
every time I open Internet Explorer 6? As well as the AOL Instant

Messenger
icon in the taskbar every time that the sign-on pop-up pops up when

opening
Internet Explorer 6?

Two questions. Getting rid of the (1) the AOL IM sign-on pop-up and
(2)

the
subsequent AOL IM icon in the taskbar.

All that being said, I do not wish to uninstall AOL IM.

Thanks.

WinXP, SP1, IE6
