Tasks might suit you better or just make the entries in the Calendar and
don't think of them as Appointments. You can link Tasks to a day in the
Calendar.
Actually, the Journal might even suit you in a timeline based view. Create
your own Entry Type. See
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/180139 for creating
entry types in the Journal. That's for Outlook 2002 so the registry setting
might be slightly different.

I have Outlook 2003.
How can I write down my activities of each day in the Calendar box for
each
day?
Am I missing something very simple somewhere??
All I want to do is make diary entry every day of my jobs, visits, etc.,
without making any appointments or notes separately.
Thanks in advance!
