Default HUGE e-mail stuck in my Outbox

A step not mentioned in the offline instructions at that site is to
exit and reload Outlook after putting it into offline mode. If
scheduled mail polling is enabled to occur every N minutes, it also
occurs at the zeroeth minute (i.e., right after Outlook fully loads,
it tries a mail poll). That will lockup the send for the oversized
outbound item. You need to get Outlook offline so it never tries to
send that item. One way would be to disable the scheduled mail poll
and then exit and reload Outlook. Putting Outlook into offline mode
is much easier but still requires exiting and reloading Outlook. In
both cases, when restarting Outlook, it won't try to immediately send
the stuck item so that it can be successfully deleted.

I have a 15 MB e-mail stuck in my Outlook 2003 and no matter what
I've tried,
I can not get the darn thing out of there. I've gone off-line to
try and
delete it; I've disconnected from the network; etc. Any
suggestions?
