Default multiple sender email address for account

I want to use three different email addresses under a single IMAP account
(pst) but Outlook 2007 forces me to create a new account (pst) for each
address. WHY??? (My mail server is set to forward each "sub address" to the
IMAP account, and I don't want to set up a separate account for each email
address on the server. I must be able to set up Outlook 2007 to receive and
send using multiple addresses from one IMAP account like Outlook 2003.

Is possible in Outlook 2007 to have 1 account with more email address
for send email?

Now, my mail server fetch messagge from 4 different pop3 account, and
put it into 1 imap account and Thunderbird access to this account,
and with identities I can send email with one of the 4 pop3 account
email like sender address

You can't have multiple addresses with a single mail account because there
is a one-to-one correspondence in Outlook between accounts and addresses.
Multiple POP accounts, however, will all feed into a single set of folders
and replying to any particular message will by default send using the
account with which the message was received. You can also manually choose
the sending account. Outlook has no such thing as identities.
